Brexit :(((

Oh lord, so there's gonna be a Brexit? I have WAY too many thoughts about this, mainly coming down to 'is this real' and 'I can't handle this'. Especially not the euphoric face of Nigel Farage above every article I've read this morning...

Quote: 'The UK now effectively consists of five nations: Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, London, and Daily Mail Readers.' :(

Hahaha thank you lovely! My god, what a bloody mess. My phone exploded this morning and I'm not even British...

*smh*

I'm not British either, but this morning I was like:

...

...

Well, shit.

YES! My god what a fucking disaster, all of this. I'm secretly hoping now everything will blow up and London will form an pro-European, financial axis with Scotland, so the Daily Mail part of the UK can sort it out for themselves.

Me too :( I feel like a betrayed ex-girlfriend... I said the masochistic part of me hopes everything will blow up now since I'm pretty angry too, but actually I don't want that, I want Britain back in our union :(

Yikes. I was glued to the news last night as the results were coming in, and it was like watching a car crash happen in slow motion. Hugs to you, hugs to everyone affected by this. :(

Ha, a car crash happening in slow motion. I think that's an adequate description, yeah. I read somewhere Britain doesn't seem to be very joyous, but anxious instead, and that's also how the continent feels I think. We do have our fair share of right-wing, Eurosceptic politicians in my country, and I'm afraid this will give them fuel. I think things need to reform as people aren't standing behind all this anymore, but I strongly believe quitting the EU altogether is definitely not an option. And yeah, it sort of fits into a bigger movement seen in- and outside the EU (look alone at how I didn't give a penny for Trump being the Republican candidate a year ago, and look at him now...), and it frightens me :(
